Multiple Media Entertainment Acquires Feature Film 'The Incidental'

TORONTO, ON – June 3, 2014– Multiple Media Entertainment, a full service media content creation and distribution company, has acquired the exclusive Canadian distribution rights to Rouzbeh Noori’s directorial debut feature film The Incidental.

A throwback to the paranoid political thrillers of the 1970s, The Incidental follows Jake, an idealistic young journalist, as he investigates an intriguing lead, uncovering a conspiracy that just might include some of the city's most influential power-brokers.  Unable to trust anyone, Jake must decide whether he really is on the verge of uncovering important truths, or if his paranoia is leading him on a path of self-destruction.

The Incidental, which features an ensemble cast of up-and-coming Canadian actors, garnered the Rising Star Award at the 2013 Canada International Film Festival and also won Best Feature at the Local Focus Film Festival.

The Incidental was written, directed and produced by Rouzbeh Noori, alongside fellow producers Cassandra Polyzou and Dan van Geest. Some of Rouzbeh’s previous projects include the short film, The Lock in 2006, followed by the acclaimed Parallels (2008) and Memory (2009), which played at a number of festivals, including the Florence International Film Festival.

Rouzbeh Noori currently resides in Sweden and is working on his follow up feature film,The Philosopher King.
